Knowing children
Knowing about children
These 2 critical elements enable me to see subtle and important differences and changes in individual children, in groups of children, in myself, in other educators, processes, in philosophy, in practice…….
The professional dispositions I need to be able to do this are:
Reflect
Learn
Curiosity
Relationship
Honesty
With knowledge also comes responsibility. Knowing something and doing nothing is not enough. Not knowing is also not enough.
